LAPD officer Frank Lyga makes controversial statements

These concepts are socially constructed and have been given much weight. What are your thoughts?

LAPD officer Frank Lyga makes controversial statements

Unread postby alexalonso » June 15th, 2014, 6:26 pm

in 1997 white undercover cop Frank Lyga shot and killed black LAPD officer Kevin Gaines who used to date Suge Knight's wife and was in a car registered to Death Row records. Listen to audio recording of Frank Lyga saying he has no regrets killing Kevin Gaines, and wish he could have killed more of "them".

Listen to recording. Does he sound racist? He was considered a racist cop back in 1997 but he was cleared of any wrong doing.

I remember reading that this was initially a road rage incident...that Gaines was chasing him into a gas station in the valley and that Lyga was "undercover". This is supposedly what led to the whole Rampart thing.

It's a shame, that they allowed this guy to get away with murder. Unfortunately, the alleged previous actions of the victim, probably assisted this guy get off. He will get his in the end, Karma is a bitch.

Lyga was fired by LAPD and last week he sued the LAPD for his job back.
